Sveti Stefan is a small fortified island connected to the mainland by a narrow sand-and-pebble isthmus, roughly six kilometres south of Budva centre. The island's terracotta rooftops and stone walls are among the most photographed spots on the Adriatic coast. Since the 1960s the island has operated as a hotel — currently the Aman Sveti Stefan — and is closed to non-guests, but the view from the mainland beach costs nothing.
The public beach on the north side of the isthmus is a pebbly stretch with clear water and a direct line of sight to the island. South of the headland, Miločer Park — a former royal garden — leads to the Queen's Beach (Kraljičina plaža), a smaller cove framed by cypress trees.
Restaurants, cafés and rental apartments in the village above the beach are listed in the directory, along with nearby dining on the Przno waterfront a short walk north.
