It stands as the smallest of the four churches situated within the Old Town walls. The building occupies a position on the western side of the peninsula, and its western-facing doorway geometry creates a framed view across the sea that captures direct sunset light during evening hours. The sunset perspective from the doorway provides a distinctive optical characteristic absent from the other Old Town churches.
