The statue has become the most photographed individual landmark in Budva subsequent only to the Old Town walls themselves.

Visitor photographs cluster around similar compositions, and during peak evening hours a succession of visitors queues at the rock formation to capture the same angle and perspective. Contact with the statue, particularly touching the outstretched hand of the bronze figure, is believed by visitors to confer good fortune according to local superstition.
