Sheltered Sandy Beach south of Petrovac
The cove faces south-east and is sheltered from the prevailing winds, which keeps the water noticeably calmer than the more exposed stretches further north. Lučice is a 220-metre sandy beach at the southern end of Petrovac, separated from the main town beach by a low rocky headland. A beach bar operates in summer, and sunbeds are available.
The path from Petrovac takes five minutes on foot. The beach is popular with families for the shallow, warm water near the shore. Outside peak season it is largely empty.
