Jaz Beach

Jaz sits in an open bay ten minutes by car west of Budva, separated from town by the headland above Trsteno. The beach stretches 1.2 kilometres and is divided into two sections: Jaz I is the main family area with sunbed hire, restaurants and beach bars; Jaz II at the eastern end is an unofficial naturist section.

The Sea Dance electronic music festival uses Jaz as its venue, drawing large crowds in mid-summer. Parking operates behind the beach for a small fee. The bay is more exposed to wind than the sheltered coves further east, which keeps the water cleaner but can make afternoons choppy.
