Sveti Stefan Beach
The public beach beside the fortified island of Sveti Stefan, the most photographed spot on the coast.
Pink Pebble Beach at Sveti Stefan Island
The beach at Sveti Stefan runs along the mainland side of the causeway connecting the shore to the fortified island. The pebbles have a distinctive pink-orange tone that changes colour depending on the light. The island itself has been closed since the Aman resort ceased operations in 2020, but the public beach remains open and free to use. The view from the beach — looking back at the walled island against the sea — is the most reproduced image of the Montenegrin coast. Sunbeds are available in summer. The beach is small and fills quickly; arriving before 10 AM secures a spot.
