Taxi boats run from the Old Town harbour, Slovenska Beach and Bečići throughout the day, taking five to fifteen minutes depending on departure point. The fare is €3 to €5 return. The island has several pebble beaches, rougher underfoot than the mainland options, a restaurant, and a small population of deer.

Water shoes are recommended. The beaches on the island's south side are the most sheltered. Currents between the island and the mainland can be strong; swimming across is discouraged.
