Будва Beach
Beaches around Budva range from small rocky coves to larger sandy stretches, with most accessible by foot or a short drive. Slovenska Beach (Slovenska obala) is the longest public beach in town, lined with beach bars and water sports facilities. Jaz Beach, east of Budva, is known for larger waves and stronger currents, popular with younger visitors. Most beaches have no entry fee but charge €5–€15 per day for sunbeds and parasols, or €2–€4 to use a shower. Water temperatures range from 24°C in early summer to 27°C in August, dropping to 14°C by November. Lifeguards patrol main beaches during summer. Smaller pebble beaches inside the Old Town harbour are quieter and cheaper. Beach bars serve drinks and light food. Most beaches have changing facilities and toilets. The sea floor is typically rocky near the shore; beach shoes or water socks prevent stubbed toes. Swimming is generally safe, though warning flags indicate rough conditions.
