Budva Bus

Buses connecting Budva to Podgorica, Kotor, Herceg Novi and regional destinations depart from the main bus station (Autobuska stanica) on Jadranski put. Journey times to Podgorica (70km) are 1.5–2 hours, Kotor (35km) 45 minutes, and Herceg Novi (60km) 1.5 hours. Single tickets cost €3–€8 depending on distance. Passes for multiple journeys or unlimited monthly travel are available. Schedules run throughout the day, with morning departures (06:00–08:00) busiest. Buses are air-conditioned and equipped with toilets. Payment is cash euros at the ticket window or on the bus; card payment is not always available. Several private operators run these routes; Autotrans and Niksicka prevozna are the largest. Luggage is transported in the hold (€1–€2 per bag or free for one piece). Bicycles are charged as separate luggage. The terminal has waiting areas, a café and toilets. Booking ahead is advisable for summer travel, particularly for afternoon departures.
