Supermarkets in Budva stock groceries, fresh produce, dairy, cured meats, wine, beer and toiletries. The main chains are Maxi, Univerexport and local independent stores. Most large supermarkets are located along Jadranski put or near Slovenska Beach. Opening hours are typically 07:00–21:00 daily, with some extending to 22:00 or 23:00 in summer. Smaller neighbourhood stores in the Old Town open at 08:00 and close by 19:00. Fresh produce markets (Pijaca) operate in the mornings, selling local vegetables, fruit and cheese direct from producers at lower prices than supermarkets. Most supermarkets accept card payments (Visa, Mastercard) and cash euros. Budva also has several bakeries integrated into supermarkets or standalone, selling fresh bread, pastries and burek. Alcohol is sold without age restrictions but ID may be requested for spirits or high-alcohol beverages. Self-checkout is available at larger chains. Parking is available at major supermarkets.
