Budva Souvenir

Souvenir shops in Budva line the Old Town streets and Slovenska Obala, selling postcards, magnets, t-shirts, ceramics and handcrafts. Local items include Montenegrin wine and rakija (brandy), packaged dried peppers and local cheeses. Prices range from €1–€5 for small items to €30–€60 for larger artisan crafts. Many shops stock UNESCO heritage items referencing the Old Town's history. Olive oil and honey from small producers are available at higher price points (€8–€15 per litre). Souvenirs with Adriatic themes (fish, boats, lighthouses) are ubiquitous. Opening hours are typically 09:00–21:00 in summer, shorter (10:00–18:00) in shoulder season, and many shops close November–March. Payment is cash or card. Some shops offer discounts for bulk purchases. Handmade jewellery, pottery and textile pieces are produced by local artisans and sold at premium prices. Several shops are family-run with owners happy to discuss local production methods and regional heritage.
