Budva Archaeological

Archaeological sites in Budva include remains from the town's Greek and Roman periods, with excavated foundations visible at several points within the Old Town walls. The most significant finds — pottery, coins, jewellery and funerary items — are displayed in the archaeological section of the Budva Museum inside the Citadel. Budva's settlement history dates back over 2,500 years, making it one of the oldest inhabited towns on the Adriatic.
